My experience in learning speaking English

Hi everyone!

I'm Aisyah Ayunindya from class X DPIB1 at SMKN 4 Semarang. I want to share my experience in practicing dialogue.

By learning native English, it becomes easier for people to understand what I say. And I came to understand some native vocabulary that we can't translate as usual.

To practice conversation, of course you can't do it alone. Therefore, I practiced dialogue with my friends, Imeylda and Keyla. This time I will practice the conversation entitled "Introductions." In this conversation contains 3 dialogues in it

Dialogue 1

Ms. Imeylda has arrived at Chicago Associated Industries

Ms. Keyla: Good morning. My name is Keyla.
Ms.Imeylda: Good morning, Ms. Keyla. How can I help you?
Ms. Keyla: I have an appointment with Ms. Adams.
Ms. Imeylda: Ah, yes. Ms. Keyla. Ten fifteen?
Ms. Keyla: That's right. Sorry I'm late.
Ms. Imeylda: No problem. Please follow me. It's this way

Dialogue 2

Ms. Keyla: Ms. Imeylda? How do you do?
Ms. Imeylda: Fine, thank you, Ms. Mareta. And you?
Ms. Keyla: I'm fine. Please, call me Keyla.
Ms. Imeylda: Ok, Keyla. And I'm Imeylda.
Ms. Keyla: So, how was the trip, Imel?
Ms. Imeylda: Not too bad. But the plane was late. I'm sorry.
Ms. Keyla: That's ok. How was the traffic from the airport?
Ms. Imeylda: Pretty bad!

Dialogue 3

Ms. Keyla: Oh, that' be Aisyah. Come in. Ms. Imel, this is Aisyah, our Canadian representative
Ms. Imeylda: Good to meet you, Aisyah.
Aisyah: It's good to meet you too, Imel.
Ms. Keyla: Imeylda is the Purchasing Manager at AlphaCom in Toronto.
Aisyah: Yes, I know AlphaCom...Tell me, is this your first trip to Chicago, Imel?
Ms. Imeylda: Yes. Yes, it is...

Apart from this conversation, I also learned 15 other conversations. Of the 15 dialogues, of course there are conversations that I find difficult and easy. For me, easy conversations are conversations that are often studied, easy for me to memorize, and I can understand the meaning. Then I still find it difficult in long dialogues, there is vocabulary that is foreign to me, and I have difficulty understanding the meaning.

I'm still having trouble with Clearness. Because sometimes I have doubts, so I don't pronounce it clearly. And based on my friends' opinions, they also said that my clearness was still lacking. So I want to learn more to improve my skills

Ok, that's all I can write up to here. Sorry if there are mistakes word or shortcomings in our video.
Thank you
